Secrets to Sweatproof Makeup
The summer heat has been extremely brutal this year and even though it's coming down to the fall season, the weather remains torturous. So I think I found the perfect formula that will help with sweat-proofing that face, no matter the skin type!

LET'S GET DOWN TO BUSINESS!
STEP ONE:
The first thing to perfecting a flawless face is preparation. After the skincare prep (cleansing, toning, serums & moisturizer), I would encourage a quick sheet mask before going into your makeup routine. This allows the skin to soak up all the moisture leaving it plump and ready to be painted. Sheet masks only take about 10 mins so you can do that while doing your hair or picking out a cute outfit. A few masks I've been loving here -
If you choose not to do a mask, that's totally okay, you can move right into applying your favorite primer. I usually go for hydrating primers especially if you have dry skin, HYDRATING PRIMER will be your best friend.
Once the primer is on, you can go ahead and set that with a translucent loose powder (my fave powder to use for this step is the Vitamin C Powder from Anna Sui).
STEP TWO:
Continue your makeup routine as you normally would - apply foundation, concealer, contour - then for the main event, BAKING! Take the setting powder of your choice with a beauty blender and dab that into the skin, adding the powder wherever you applied concealer (I've been loving the Huda Beauty Easy Bake for this step).
Allow your under eyes to bake a little longer than everywhere because you DO NOT want your concealer to be moving throughout the day. You can also set your contour with a little bronzer or dark-toned loose setting powder (I love the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder in Medium Deep or Tarte Amazonian Clay Matte Waterproof Bronzer for this).
**A little bonus tip - after doing this step, spray your face with a little setting spray and dab it in with a beauty blender. Let that dry and continue beating that face to the GODS honey!
STEP THREE:
Move into the eye makeup or whatever you usually do after applying your face makeup. Once you're all done, set that face with the setting spray, yes... again! (I currently use the Mario Badescu Facial Spray, also works fantastic as a setting spray). It might seem like a lot but trust me, it's totally worth it when you start sweating then realize your face still beat (just a little dewy which is exactly what you want).
& YOU'RE DONE!
