This blog was created to share my life stories through fun categories like fashion, beauty, travel, and lifestyle. With this exploration of the deeper self, I hope to not only share some of my best and worst experiences with you but also inspire other women like myself to live their dreams. 

 

A little about me, I was born and raised in St. Catherine, Jamaica. While growing up, I always had a love for fashion and almost knew from a very young age that what I really wanted, was not offered at my destination. So once it was time to go off to college I decided to embark on a new journey in New York City!

 

After studying Fashion Business Management and Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing at the Fashion Institute of Technology, I struggled for a while to find myself and ultimately lost sight of my dreams. It was not until I had the opportunity to work with some fabulous people in the PR world that I truly woke up to the possibilities I was passing up. Then came into fruition, Melaninbanc. It was the perfect blend of everything I loved about the creative world.

 

Now as a content creator/influencer/ambassador/photo editor/social manager... the list really goes on - I am sharing my life experiences with you including some tips, tricks, and hacks on how to stay on the path.
